		Indië Verloren... Onthullend onderzoek naar het rookgordijn rondom de oorlog van Nederland tegen het onafhankelijk Indonesië (1945-1949). In Nederland wordt langzaam maar zeker de koloniale geschiedenis herschreven. Het was al langer duidelijk dat wat de Nederlandse regering indertijd ‘politionele acties’ noemde – de inzet van het leger na de onafhankelijkheidsverklaring van Indonesië – feitelijk een onrechtmatige oorlog was. Maar de term ‘oorlogsmisdaden’ ligt nog altijd gevoelig. Deze documentaire onthult hoe ver de Nederlandse machthebbers gingen in het ‘verkopen’ van de oorlog als een binnenlandse aangelegenheid, bedoeld om de rust onder de bevolking te herstellen. Uniek, vaak schokkend beeldmateriaal vertelt een ander verhaal. Filmmaker In-soo Radstake gaat in gesprek met experts in binnen- en buitenland, die onder meer de complexe verhoudingen in de voormalige kolonie en de internationale context duiden.
